Frequently Asked Questions
(or the existential questions I've asked myself)
Isn't a Y/N just the same thing as a Main Character?
Yes and no. The concept of romanticizing your life is nothing new. And one could argue your "fantastic moment" that turns you into y/n is the same as a "main character moment." But I believe using the phrase y/n is more inclusive because it's much harder for people to say that they are not their name than it is for people to argue they are not a main character. A key component in this practice is belief, so much like Peter Pan, we all must believe in ourselves.
Are you mentally ill?
Yes lmao but we out here living with it...
(I've gotten help in the past, and if I was worried about my safety, I would do so again. I'm not currently in therapy, but I've set up some solid management techniques and am doing fine)
Should I be worried about you?
Probably not. I'm doing some of my best personal management I've ever done, but every day is an active choice to keep going. When I go through my rougher patches, I'm usually pretty open about it, so you'll know. Generally, I am very happy to be alive.
What's the purpose of life?
Ah, yes, the question everyone is looking at me to answer. I think that it's just to live. What an absolutely ground shattering observation by this pretentious 22 year old
